Tee times for British Open at Royal Portrush confirmed
Two time Open champion Padraig Harrington will hit the opening shot of this year’s Open Championship at Royal Portrush.
Harrington who is the last golfer to have won back to back Open championships will tee off at 6.35am on Thursday alongside Northern Ireland’s Tom McKIbbin and Nicolai Hojgaard of Denmark.
Darren Clarke is out an hour later with Australia’s Lucas Herbert and David Riley of USA.
Shane Lowry plays with world number one Scottie Scheffler and Colin Morikawa at 10.09 while Rory McIlroy does not play until the afternoon. He tees off at ten past three with Justin Thomas and Tommy Fleetwood.
