There was goals galore in the opening Waterford Premier League game of the weekend with Tycor showing their scoring prowess in a nine goal thriller against Ferrybank at the Williamstown Sports Complex on Saturday.

Glenn Hawe, Jack Power x2, Michael Hearne, Aaron Flavin and an own goal gave the home side an important 6-3 win.

Later that evening, Dungarvan United left it late as they grabbed a last minute winner through Ryan Donnelly to take all three points back to West Waterford with a 1-0 away win at Hibernians.

The weekend’s top flight action was rounded out by Bohemians who dispatched of Ballinroad 4-0 at St Laurence’s Park.

Ider Boldbaatar, Ross Battye, Jamie Brazil and Keohan ensuring all the points went the way of the Poleberry side.
