Waterford FC will be aiming to make it three wins on the bounce under new manager Keith Long when they entertain Kerry FC in the SSE Airtricity League First Division this evening.
The Blues netted seven goals in their last home game in a comfortable 7-1 victory over Finn Harps while last weekend resulted in a 3-1 Munster derby win away to Cobh Ramblers.
Blues legend Alan Reynolds was back in the Blues dugout in St. Colman's Park as he re-joined the club as assistant boss to Long, a formidable partnership as Waterford aim to close the gap on league leaders, Galway United.
Waterford sit third in the league table ahead of this evening's clash and will be confident of getting another victory in front of the home fans.
There'll be a minute's applause held prior to kick-off this evening in memory of Waterford's Craig Breen who tragically lost his live in a rallying accident in Croatia yesterday.
Waterford FC say they are "saddened at the passing of Craig Breen. Craig was a dedicated sportsman and a proud ambassador for Waterford".
The title hunt for Waterford continues tomorrow at home to newcomers Kerry.
