Waterford FC will open their 2026 SSE Airtricity Men’s Premier Division with a home game at the RSC.
Shelbourne will provide the opposition on Friday Feb 6 in a repeat of the opening fixture of two seasons ago.
The following week, they make the journey to Drogheda United before then welcoming Sligo Rovers to the RSC. They close out their first month with a long trip to the Brandy well to face Derry City.
The season opens a week earlier than normal due to the World Cup and an extended international window in September.
At the end of the season, Waterford’s final game will also see them take on Shelbourne – this time at Tolka Park on October 30th.
Waterford’s women begin their second season in the top flight with a local derby against Wexford at the RSC on March 14th.
