Keith Long's side welcome Wilton United to the RSC for the Munster Senior Cup Quarter final on Friday evening.
Last time out, the Blues lost 2-1 to Shels in a pre-season friendly, with new striker Padraig Amond on the score sheet.
Waterford are heavy favorites ahead of kick-off at 7.45.
The manager was happy to get a good look at all his new players last weekend in Dublin, with more experimenting expected against Wilton.
The club were busy throughout the winter break with several new bodies coming in.
Robbie McCourt, Darragh Leahy, Kacper Radkowski, Ben McCormack, Joseph Forde, Gbemi Arubi, Barry Baggley, Kacper Skwierczyński and Padraig Amond have all put pen to paper ahead of the 2024 start date.
Baggley returns having impressed in the midfield last year - he left for Fleetwood briefly, before returning to the RSC - and he will be expected to pick up where he left off in his relationship with Rowan McDonald.
Likewise, Robbie McCourt returns to Waterford having played for Blues previously in 2021.
It's set to be a busy weekend for the manager as once the Munster Senior Cup tie is put to bed, they will be on the road to Dublin to take on Sligo Rovers at Abbotstown in another pre-season friendly with kick-off on Saturday at 3.30 pm
