Waterford FC are on the road to Westmeath this evening as they face Athlone Town in the Airtricity League First Division.
The Blues will be hoping to bounce back from disappointing back to back home performances which included a draw against Longford and last weeks defeat to Galway.
Danny Searle's side have four points from the opening three games and speaking after last Friday's defeat, the Waterford boss is hoping for a big improvement;
Athlone sit just above the Blues on the league table with six points from their opening three matches. Last season Waterford won all four encounters between the sides including two 5-2 victories at the Westmeath venue.
It's a new-look Blues squad this season but despite an excellent start in Wexford on the opening night, they have failed to fire in their last two games and the fans will be looking to see more energy this evening.

Elsewhere this evening in the First Division, early pacesetters Galway United take on Kerry, while second-placed Bray Wanderers meet Longford Town.
Wexford go to Finn Harps, and Treaty United host Cobh Ramblers.

Shamrock Rovers bid for their first win of the new SSE Airtricity Premier Division season tonight.
With three draws and a loss from their opening four matches, Stephen Bradley's side are away to Shelbourne.
There's another Dublin derby at Inchicore, where St Pat's host Bohemians.
Leaders Derry City take on Dundalk, while UCD face Drogheda United.
