Cappoquin’s Bill Murphy and his Ireland team-mates are through to the semi-finals of the men’s quadruple sculls at the World Under-19 Rowing Championships in Lithuania.

Murphy, Evan O’Byrne, Harry McCartney and Mattias Cogan finished 3rd in their heat this morning in a time of 6 minutes 9.93 seconds.

The semi-finals will get underway in Trakai on Saturday afternoon.
