Shane Bennett will miss Waterford's trip to Antrim on Sunday in the National Hurling League.
Déise coach Dan Shanahan told WLR Sport that the Ballysaggart man suffered a knee injury in the win over Laois at Walsh Park. "He won't be involved for the next number of weeks. A big loss. We tried him wing back, he would have played there with his club, and he was going well there, just to freshen things up for Shane. Unfortunately, he got a knee into the knee and did damage to one of his ligaments."
He is confident that Bennett will be available for the Munster championship in April. "It's about a four or five week job. He will be back for championship please god."
