Ballymacarbry are in somewhat uncharted territory this Saturday afternoon as they bid to win the Munster Senior Ladies Football ‘B’ Championship title.

Their 42-year reign as Waterford champions was brought to a dramatic end by Comeragh Rangers in October – but they have since battled back to defeat Cahir of Tipperary 3-5 to 2-5 and Southern Gaels of Kerry by 1-8 to 0-8.

They now take on Clonakilty of Cork in Mallow this Saturday for a 1pm throw-in with the Munster ‘B’ title up for grabs.

Clonakilty are through to the decider after a 2-15 to 3-4 win against Kilmihil last time out.
