Ballymac are the last team standing for Waterford this weekend in Munster.
The long-reigning Deise Champions head to Cork this afternoon seeking to book their place in the decider with a win at Clyda Rovers GAA grounds.
They face Mourneabbey in the final four and come to the game having claimed the Waterford title for the 40th consecutive year. Ballymac are unbeaten in Deise deciders since 1982.
Today they face the Cork champions who were very impressive in their county final beating Éire Óg some weeks ago. They beat the Knockanemore side 1.11 to 1.06 in Páirc Uí Chaoimh to reclaim the COrk title that had been taken from them by West Cork the previous year.
Today, Ballymac will be hoping to become the only Waterford team to register a win in the province this weekend with both The Nire and Portlaw knocked out at the quarter-final stage yesterday.
Captain Lauren Fitzpatrick spoke to WLR Sport this week and says that the Cork team will pose some real threats across the park, so they'll need to be careful about how they approach it.
"If we can limit their goalscoring chances and obviously push them out, we're hoping that we make a bit of a difference on Sunday. We can't really get too caught up on what Mourneabbey have and what Mourneabbey can throw at us. It's about us at the end of the day and what we can bring to the game on Sunday. We need to keep playing the way we have been playing all year because it's been working for us and it's kind of suiting was this year"
