Ardmore have made an immediate return to the Intermediate hurling ranks.

The Westerners emerged 5-17 to 0-9 winners over fourteen man Ballydurn at a wind swept WIT Arena in today's county Junior final.

Seamus Prendergast and James Flavin scored two goals each while man of the match David Gartland hit 1-4 from play.
Ballydurn lost goalkeeper Richie Kirwan to a straight red card seven minutes into the second half.

Captain Declan Prendergast says that it's a great thrill to regain their intermediate status.

The former inter-county felt that the game was a lot closer than the final scoreline suggested.
