This is Niamh Rockett's sixteenth season in a Waterford shirt.
The St Annes forward first joined the Déise squad in 2009. She has won All Ireland intermediate and junior medals and picked up an All Star award in 2020.
What brings her back for 2024? "To win an All Ireland I suppose. Last year, thoughts go through your head 'would that be the pinnacle of it?' All the girls are your best friends. It's your family, you've went through it all before. Last year, I felt like I could have given more to it. Going back in, I was just thinking how close we were and the few mistakes we made try and rectify them and hopefully bring a bit of silverware to Waterford."
