Nine Waterford players are in contention for All Star awards this evening as the PwC Camogie All Stars and the TG4 Ladies’ Football All Stars are named in Dublin.

The PwC Camogie All-Star Awards take place at Croke Park in Dublin and Waterford have six players recognised for their outstanding performances.

Goalkeeper Brianna O’Regan, defender Vikki Falconer, midfielder Lorraine Bray and forwards Niamh Rockett, Beth Carton and Abby Flynn are all nominated.

The TG4 Ladies’ Football All Star Awards take place at the Bonnington Hotel in Dublin and three Déise stars are also among the contenders.

Midfielder Emma Murray and forwards Lauren McGregor and Bríd McMaugh are nominated.

The winners will be announced at respective gala ceremonies later this evening.
