Tramore's Jim Goodwin has parted ways with Aberdeen after just under a year in charge of the Scottish Premiership side.
The former Republic of Ireland international, took over the reigns in February of 2022, following a three-year stint as St Mirren manager.
His departure comes after a disastrous week, which saw Aberdeen suffer a 1-0 Scottish Cup defeat to junior side, Darvel, at Recreation Park.
To add insult to injury, the Dons fell to heavy 6-0 defeat at the hands of Hibernian in the Scottish Premiership on Saturday.
Little time was wasted by the club following that loss and Goodwin's departure was announced very soon after.
A statement from the club reads, "Following an unacceptable run of results since the World Cup break, the Club confirms it has parted company with Jim Goodwin and first team assistant manager, Lee Sharp, with immediate effect."
