Abbeyside Ballinacourty are through to the Waterford Senior Football Championship semi-finals.

They saw off Kilrossanty in the quarter-finals at Fraher Field this afternoon on a scoreline of 2-13 to 0-14 as Daire Slevin’s second half goal proved crucial.

Kilrossanty led by four at the break – 0-10 to 1-3, but a strong second half display from Abbeyside Ballinacourty sees them join Rathgormack, The Nire and Gaultier in the last four.

The draw has been made for the semi-finals.

The Nire will play Gaultier and reigning champions Rathgormack will take on Abbeyside Ballinacourty.
