Ipswich Town have completed the signing of striker Aron Drinan from Waterford FC.
The two clubs agreed a deal to sign the 19-year old in October and now the switch has been rubber-stamped now that the January transfer window has opened and his international clearance has come through.
Drinan, who joined Waterford from Cork City will wear the No 26 shirt is understood to have cost Ipswich Town 100,000 Euro (90,000 Sterling).
He has signed a contract which runs until the summer of 2021 and it is expected he will make his debut against Sheffield United in the FA Cup.
Aaron said was delighted that the deal has been finalised. "I am buzzing and can't wait to get going. Not being able to play since October was tough but I always knew the transfer would go through so I just kept my head down and worked hard''.
