Last night marked the sixth consecutive win for the Blues with a final score of Bray Wanderers-1 Waterford FC-2.
Waterford FC came from behind to take all three points from a resolute Bray Wanderers side in an entertaining encounter at the Carlisle Grounds.
The Blues fell behind after just three minutes when Bray's top scorer Cole Omorehionwan met a Joe Power corner and he powered his header to the net for his fifth goal of the season.
Waterford rallied and forced good saves from Stephen McGuinness with efforts from Shane Griffin and Conor Parsons but they could not find a breakthrough in a first half in which the visitors were dominant but the home side defence stood firm.
Second Half
The second half was a different affair as the Blues upped the tempo and when Max Murphy was dismissed on 52 minutes for the Seagulls for a second yellow card, the tide turned for Waterford.
They took just three minutes to level the game with Ronan Coughlan latching onto a through ball from Niall O Keeffe and he blasted past McGuinness.
And it was Coughlan who netted his ninth goal in a week with a superb header to put Waterford in front on 74 minutes when he met a perfect cross from Ryan Burke and they held on to secure the win and end Bray's unbeaten home record in the process.
