Former Cheltenham Gold Cup-winning chaser A Plus Tard has been retired.
The Henry de Bromhead-trained 10-year-old won the 2022 Cheltenham Gold Cup and was a four-time Grade One winner - with successes in the Betfair Chase and Savills Chase among the highlights.
The Cheveley Park-owned star had been plagued with injuries since his Gold Cup success, having initially formed a formidable partnership with stable jockey Rachael Blackmore.
Brilliant in the Gold Cup, sparkling in the Betfair Chase - but this remarkable Savills Chase success still lingers in the memory!
