It’s a big weekend on the Waterford sporting calendar. Several key fixtures take place across soccer, rugby, camogie, football, and hurling.
The action begins on Friday night. Waterford FC travel to face Dundalk at Oriel Park in the League of Ireland Premier Division.

Friday also marks the final day of the Cheltenham Festival. Gold Cup Day takes centre stage for racing fans.
On Saturday afternoon, Ireland face Scotland in the Six Nations Championship. The match takes place at the Aviva Stadium. Kick-off is at 2:10 pm.
At 2:30 pm, Waterford take on Kilkenny in Division 1A of the Camogie National League. The game takes place at Azzurri Walsh Park.
At 3 pm, Waterford FC Women host Wexford FC Women at the RSC. The match is in the SSE Airtricity Women’s Premier Division.
Sunday sees more inter-county action. The Waterford senior football team faces Antrim in Division 4 of the Allianz National Football League. Throw-in is at 1 pm in Cappoquin Logistics Fraher Field.
Later that afternoon, the Waterford senior hurling team welcomes Tipperary to Azzurri Walsh Park. The match is in Division 1A of the Allianz Hurling League. Throw-in is at 2 pm. A win would secure Division 1A status for the Déise.
