All Ireland winning manager with Galway Cyril Farrell chose his 2024 Hurling All Stars on Friday's Lár Na Páirce show.
Clare full forward Shane O'Donnell is his pick for Hurler of the Year. "He had a fantastic season. The break he took, with the studies in America, did him the power of good. It wasn't so much the scores he got it was that he brought everyone into play. A great team player. He was the man who turned a lot of matches. Darragh Fitzgibbon had a great year and so did Kyle Hayes but I don't think there will be any complaints if O'Donnell is Hurler of the Year."
Eight Banner players, including All Ireland final man of the match Tony Kelly, make his All Star fifteen.
Cyril Farrell's 2024 All Stars: Nickie Quaid (Limerick); Adam Hogan (Clare), Eoin Downey (Cork), Conor Leen (Clare); David McInerney (Clare), John Conlon (Clare), Kyle Hayes (Limerick); Darragh Fitzgibbon (Cork), Tony Kelly (Clare); David Fitzgerald (Clare), Shane Barrett (Cork), Seamus Harnedy (Cork); Aaron Gillane (Limerick), Shane O'Donnell (Clare), Mark Rodgers (Clare).
