Former Waterford senior hurling manager Michael Ryan believes Waterford will come out fighting in their last two games of the Munster Championship.

Waterford's season is hanging by a thread after last weekend's disappointing eighteen point defeat at the hands of a razor sharp Tipperary in Thurles

Speaking to WLR Sport, Michael says everyone needs to row in behind the squad.

The Fourmilewater club-man says Kilkenny can't be ruled out from winning this year's All-Ireland title.

Michael was thrilled to see his former side, Westmeath defeat Offaly in the Joe McDonagh Cup last weekend and he featured on this afternoon's "On The Ball" Sports show with Gavin Whelan

The curtain raiser will see the Déise Minor hurlers seek their first win of the campaign when they tackle Limerick from 12 Noon.
