Deise hurling boss Paraic Fanning has handed championship debuts to Conor Prunty and Peter Hogan for Sunday's home tie with the Banner in Walsh Park.

Conor Gleeson has recovered from a shoulder injury to take his place at midfield.

Meanwhile, 46 year old Kilrossanty keeper Darren Mulhearne will make his championship debut for the Waterford footballers against Clare this evening. He comes in for the injured Aaron Beresford.

Corner back Sean O'Donovan from Modeligo and Ballinacourty attacker Sean Whelan-Barrett also get their first championship starts.
