Waterford will seek National glory in the capital this afternoon as they entertain Munster-rivals Kerry in the Division 2 League Final.

Both sides have shown impressive form in their march to the decider and a close contest is anticipated following the sides draw when they met in the group stages in February.

The Déise scored five goals in an impressive semi-final win over Cavan, with the experienced Michelle Ryan netting a hat-trick.

Kerry saw off Armagh in their last four tie.

Ciaran Curran is in his first season as Déise manager, and he told WLR Sport the mood is upbeat after their 5-13 to 2-9 victory against Cavan two weeks ago.

Ciaran says it’s great to back challenging for National titles.

Curran was impressed with Kerry’s semi final win over Armagh.

The action in Parnell Park is underway @ 2pm, and Tomás McCarthy will keep us updated here on WLR.

It’ll be followed @ 4pm by the Division 1 decider where Cork take on Galway.
