Waterford FC are on the road once again this evening with a trip to the capital to take on Bohemians in the Airtricity League Premier Division.
'The Gypsies' will be on a high following their Dublin-derby victory over Shamrock Rovers on Tuesday, while 'The Blues' drew with Derry City on Monday.
WLR will broadcast tonight's match live from Dalymount Park thanks to Clem Jacob Hire, with the commentary team of Matt Keane and Gavin Whelan.
Meanwhile the players of Waterford FC are still reeling from the decision not to allow them play in the Europa League this season.
Waterford had been preparing for a first season in European football since 1986 only to be informed last week that their licence application had been denied by UEFA under Article 12.2 of Uefa’s club licensing and financial fair play regulations.
The rule states that the club's "membership and the contractual relationship (if any) must have lasted – at the start of the licence season – for at least three consecutive years."
Waterford United were taken over by current owner Lee Power and rebranded as Waterford FC in 2017. However, Power has claimed he had been given "assurances" by the FAI that an exemption would be given.
Speaking last week, he said: "We feel we have been totally misled by the FAI and were given assurances throughout this five-month process by them that the licence would be granted.
"We also had club visits by UEFA Delegates during this period of which no issues were raised."
