Walsh Park will welcome Munster championship hurling for the first time in sixteen years this summer.
Waterford hosted Kerry back in 2003, The Munster Council confirmed that the Munster Hurling Championship games against Clare and Limerick will be held at Walsh Park.
Last year, the Deise were forced to play their 'home' games in Limerick and Thurles with no Waterford venue deemed suitable.
Munster Council CEO, Kieran Leddy says the 11,000 capacity won't change.
Kieran says tickets towards clubs will be limited.

Kieran says they'll be working closely with the Waterford County Board over the next few weeks and months.
