Waterford suffered their first defeat in Division 1B of the National Hurling League this afternoon.
They were beaten by Dublin in Parnell Park.
Stephen Bennett, Tommy Ryan and Shane Bennett scored Waterford's three goals in the opening half while Stephen Bennett scored his second goal midway through the second half.
However, a dogged Dublin team refused to yield let by Oisin O'Rouke who finished the game with a total of 1-10.
Waterford had a chance to win the game deep in stoppage time when they were awarded a penalty however, their goalkeeper Alan Nolan produced an excellent save from Stephen Bennett.
Final score Dublin 1-26 Waterford 5-15.

The Waterford Senior Footballers secured their first victory of the Allianz National League campaign this afternoon.
Benji Whelan's side beat Wexford by 7 points at Innovate Wexford Park
Waterford were reduced to 14 men on 37 minutes when Ray O'Ceallaigh was sent off.
Waterford led by 2-2 to 0-6 at the break thanks to goals from Fearghal Ó Cuirrin and Dylan Guiry.
Fearghal Ó Cuirrin scored his second goal on 53 minutes before Shane Ahearne's goal effort deflects to the net for a Waterford goal on 64 minutes.
Conor Murray scored the fifth goal for Waterford on 67 minutes.

In Camogie, there was disappointment for Waterford in the Littlewoods National League
They suffered a four-point defeat against Tipperary in the De La Salle grounds this afternoon.
The sides were level on 6 points apiece at half time however Tipperary were playing with the breeze in the second.
It finished Waterford 10 points Tipperary 1-11
