A Waterford man has won the 2018 Rás Mumhan
Conor Hennebry from Clonea Power was crowned 2018 champion this afternoon.
The 25 year old, who is part of the Viner-Caremark-Pactimo team, had a two second lead going into today's final stage after winning stage 3 yesterday.
“I may have won the overall, but credit has to go to the team who only a couple of months ago were formed. The groundwork for the overall win was put into action after the stage on Sunday which took in infamous ‘Coom on Easpaig’ climb which ended the aspirations of many. My stage win into Waterville,” was the icing on the cake said Conor as he was surrounded by friends and supporters in the ‘Square’ in Killorglin.
The four day event was run by Killorglin Cycling Club.
So our @kerryfoodgroup Rás Mumhan 2018 Champion is Conor Hennebry @VinerCaremark 🏆
