2017 was a real roller coaster season for the Waterford senior hurlers who narrowly lost out to Galway in a unique All-Ireland SHC Final on the first Sunday in September.
There were many highlights throughout a great season, which included a first Championsip win over Kilkenny since the 1959 All-Ireland Final replay, and a thrilling All-Ireland semi-final win over Cork as the Déise avenged their Munster semi-final defeat.
