De La Salle are back in the County Senior hurling Championship Final for the first time in five seasons after a narrow one point win over Eastern rivals Passage in testing conditions at Walsh Park this afternoon.

The sides were level at the break, 2-4 to 1-7.

Thomas and Aaron Connors found the net for the Reds before Kevin Moran who was moved to full forward got a goal for De la Salle before the interval.

The second half was nip and tuck with both sides giving in everything, De La Salle did open up a three point lead late on but Passage came roaring back, Eoin Kelly was hauled down inside the penalty area and Owen Connors rattled the net to tie up proceedings.
