Shane Ryan scored 1-8 as De La Salle emerged 1-19 to 0-15 winners over Fourmilewater in the curtain raiser at Fraher Field.
Ryan netted a fifteenth minute goal and Kevin Moran drove over two points as Salle enjoyed an eight point advantage at the break.
The Eastern outfit coasted to victory despite the best efforts of Fourmile free taker Dylan Guiry.
Manager Owen Dunphy was pleased with a dominant first half showing, and said despite not performing well in their last two group games, he knew today's performance was in the team.
The De La Salle boss also hailed the contribution of Shane Ryan.
In the second game, which was a repeat of last year's semi-final Passage edged out Dungarvan to qualify for the last four yet again
The Reds were guilty of poor shooting for long spells, but in the end a late goal from Eoin Kelly saw John Treacy's side prevail by 1-14 to 0-15 in Fraher Field.
The semi-final draw has thrown up two mouthwatering ties, defending champions Ballygunner will face Lismore, while Passage and De La Salle will meet in an-Eastern last four clash.
