Gailltir are on the road to Croker today for the All Ireland intermediate camogie final against St Rynaghs from Offaly.

The blue and navy lost to Clonduff by ten points to nine twelve months ago in freezing conditions. Goalkeeper Ciara Jackman brought a hot water bottle to cope with the cold weather. "That photograph is still haunting me! If it does the job and means that I can catch a ball or hit a puckout, I don't care looking silly in Croke Park!"

Jackman says that they are ready for whatever conditions are thrown at them. "We're just going to have to adapt. We're used to it now; we've trained in snow, hail, rain."

Jackman played in Croke Park for the first time twelve months ago. "It was interesting. Even in the warm-up, you're not allowed use the goals which I found hard to adjust to. You're using poles on the side of the pitch."

She says that they won't be fazed by the venue this time around. "Last  year we went viewing the stadium the week before and we got to see museum. Whereas now, we're accustomed to it and we're taking it in our stride. We know what to expect."

Full back Margo Heffernan is daughter of Kilkenny legend Christy. "I remind him that I'm the only one with the Munster medal in that house! That's the only one he doesn't have!"

She says that she gets plenty of advice. "I get tutorials every time I go home! Maybe at underage I wasn't as accepting of criticism but I've learned now to take every little bit of help I can get."

Throw in is at 1.30. Updates on WLR throughout the afternoon.
