Second half-tries from Josh Van-der Flier and Andrew Conway proved crucial scores as the home side continue to stamp their authority on the game.
Tadhg Furlong scored Ireland's second try, with Johnny Sexton adding the extras.
Before that, a Jordan Larmour try had given Ireland a 5-0 lead, but a converted Tomos Williams try put Wales ahead soon after.
