Ballymacarbry defender Karen McGrath will captain the Waterford ladies football team for 2020.
Ciaran Curran's side start life in Division 1 away to All Ireland runners-up Galway in Corofin on Sunday at 2 o'clock. It's their first top flight game in thirteen years after gaining promotion from Division 2 last season.
Sunday is the first of four away days for the Déise. They will also visit Mayo, Westmeath and Cork. Waterford will be at home to Donegal, Tipperary and Dublin.
