Modeligo club-man Thomas Walsh is the man in the middle for Saturday's All-Ireland Intermediate Club Hurling Final between Tullaron of Kilkenny and Cork champions, Fr. O' Neill's.

The Waterford referee was appointed last weekend to take charge of the decider at Croke Park which will throw-in @ 6 pm.

It'll be preceded by the Junior Final between Russell Rovers and Conahy Shamrocks at 4 pm.

Speaking to WLR Sport, Thomas says he was thrilled to receive the news last weekend; "A brilliant honour, I really was shocked, back in July I had a run out in Croke Park, I did a Minor game between Galway and Kilkenny, going out and refereeing an All-Ireland Final is great".

Thomas says it promises to be a thrilling decider between two to quality sides.
