Two-time All Star Beth Carton shot 1-13 (1-8 from play) as De La Salle defeated St Annes 1-19 to 1-11 in the second senior camogie semi final at The SETU Arena on Saturday afternoon.

Goalkeeper Brianna O'Regan saved a second half penalty from Niamh Rockett before Carton blasted to the net on 42 minutes. All Star nominee Abby Flynn fired three first half points for the Gracedieu outfit. They will take on Gailltir next Saturday in a repeat of last year's final.

Eight Carton points (five from play) left De La Salle 13-6 ahead at half time. Four minutes into the second period, a Becky Kavanagh shot slipped through the hands of Brianna O'Regan and fell over the line (0-14 to 1-7).

Carton reacted with two massive points. On 37 minutes, Abby Murphy was fouled for a St Anne's penalty. Niamh Rockett stepped forward but she was denied by her inter county team mate. Rockett scored eight points from placed balls. Carton's goal sent Salle through to their third senior final.
