The sale of The Forum in Waterford sale has been confirmed after more than 40 years, marking the end of an era for the popular local venue.

The sale was confirmed today, January 30th, by long-time owner Ciaran O'Neill, who has overseen the venue for decades.

The new owner, described as a Dublin-based businessman, has not yet been identified.

However, it has been confirmed that the sale ensures the continued operation of the venue’s long-running and much-loved bingo nights.

Ciaran O'Neill was a guest in studio on 'Deise Today' this morning (Friday).
