Confirmation season is upon us and First Holy Communions are just around the corner too!

For families of children involved, they have become very expensive events and it's difficult to achieve the balance of making the day special for your child, while not going over the top on the spend!

But they can also be expensive occasions for extended family, friends and neighbours of the children; who have to question how much money to put in a card...how much is too little, or indeed, too much?
