Grace Harris (8) claimed her place in the history books as she accompanied the Waterford Rose at the selection event last Saturday.
Waterford Rose Cara Comerford, Portlaw, was crowned the Waterford Rose.
She will go on to represent the county at the International Rose of Tralee event later this year.
8-year-old Grace, an accomplished Irish dancer and proud Ballygunner National School pupil accompanied her.
Grace is the great-granddaughter of the legendary Betty Bible and granddaughter of Jean Mulcahy-Harris.
She proudly wore a dress created by hand by both Betty and Jean.
Grace popped into studio to Ollie and Dymphna to recap on a proud weekend for her and her family.
