"The Bockety World of Henry and Bucket" is on at Theatre Royal on November 24th.

The Bockety World of Henry and Bucket is a children's play performed by Kilkenny-based Barnstorm Theatre Company. Cian Manning, author of "Waterford City - A History."

Waterford City - A History is a fun, coffee-table style book full of stories of The Deise in days of yore. Some of the pieces in the book are well-documented, but others might come as a surprise, such as the fact that Ireland's first frog sighting was reputedly in Waterford, or that we have our very own Vampire, the Dearg Doo. Cian joined me in studio where he also spoke about his own background and love of local history...

Leaving Cert students from Meánscoil San Nioclás Katie Halpin-Hill and Riain Ó Donnchú are also members of Dún Garbháin le Gaeilge. Through this, they've formed a brand new bilingual art festival for young people. Péacóg will run at various venues in Dungarvan from November 23rd to 30th.
