WLR’s hugely successful Radio Drama series Youthquake is back, and kicked off on-air on 21st April.
The five half hour radio plays have been developed, and are performed by students from St Augustines college Dungarvan, Ursuline Convent, De La Salle college and Newtown school.
Before the restrictions, the group of students took part in six weeks of workshops coordinated by Liam Meagher. Over the six weeks the storylines, scripts and language of the plays were teased out, to best reflect what life is like for teenagers in Waterford in 2020.
