Hook Lighthouse re-opened to visitors on June 29th. At 800 years old, the iconic building is the most popular tourist attraction in Wexford.
Hook Lighthouse, the Lightkeepers Café and the outdoor dining option, The Seahorse, are now open seven days a week from 10 am to 6 pm with last access to the grounds at 4 pm and dining closing at 5 pm. Strict social distancing and hygiene measures are in place, in keeping with guidelines.
Tours of the lighthouse have also recommenced, but you must pre-book through hookheritage.ie.

Spraoi has announced that this year’s festival will take place in Waterford in September.
The International Street Arts Festival had to cancel its traditional August Bank Holiday Weekend event due to Covid-19 restrictions.
It’s the first time in 26 years that the Spraoi festival won’t take place here in August
However Spraoi Time 2020 will present an array of performances and installations to give audience a new experience of Waterford at night, between September 4th and 13th.
