Artist Don Conroy has been teaching people to draw on YouTube since the Covid19 restrictions
Dublin-born artist Don Conroy has been a familiar face since the days of The Den, and he's continued to work as an artist and an author over the decades, having amassed a huge body of work. Don now lives in Wicklow Town and since the restrictions he's been teaching people to draw on YouTube. He's also written over 50 children's books and last weekend, he gave a Zoom drawing class through Garter Lane. You can find out more about him here through his website.

WLR’s compelling Radio Drama series Youthquake reached its conclusion On the Fringe last night.
The five half hour radio plays were developed and performed by students from St Augustines college Dungarvan, Ursuline Convent, De La Salle college and Newtown school.
Before the restrictions, the group of students took part in six weeks of workshops coordinated by Liam Meagher and our own Aoibhin Fallon. Over the six weeks the storylines, scripts and language of the plays were teased out, to best reflect what life is like for teenagers in Waterford in 2020.
