"Waterford 40 years from now" is an exhibition put together by teenagers in Waterford

Can you imagine what Waterford will be like in 40 years? Well a group of secondary school students from around the City have done just that, with an exhibition they put together, that's on display at Garter Lane this week. For more details of times you can click here. 

I was joined in studio by Sandra Kelly and Derek Corcoran, staff at Garter Lane, who were involved in organising the Waterford 40 years from now exhibition. You can listen back to our chat here..

Colligan poet Clodagh Beresford Dunne has enjoyed much success of late; she was given the Clarissa Louard Award in London before Christmas, and she's heading into 2020 with new work published by the prestigious Poetry Foundation. You can find that work here.

27 transition year students from across Waterford have had the chance to be trained by professionals in the theatre business, through a mentoring programme at Theatre Royal. You'll find out more here.

They're putting on their own show Not a Session, a culmination of their work, on January 16th and 17th. I was joined by Theatre Manager Mary Boland and students Chloe, Anna and David, who discussed the experience..
