What Could Your Club Or Community Group Do With €2,500?

Clubbing In is back on WLR with thanks to Haleon.

From musical societies to drama clubs, volunteer groups to sports teams, and more, WLR and Haleon are 'Clubbing In' to give your Waterford club or community group the recognition it deserves! Clubs are the cornerstones of our communities and a vital resource for us all to enjoy.

Community is the heart of Haleon Dungarvan, and they want YOU to nominate your local club or community group for the chance to win €2,500, with the two runners-up receiving €250 each.

If you’d like to be in with a chance of winning €2,500 for your club or community group, fill out the below application form. Closing date for applications is Friday, August 4th at 12pm and we ask that you please submit one entry per club or community group. Check out the full terms and conditions below.

An independent panel will pick 3 finalists, which will then be featured across WLR’s socials and interviewed on Déise Today with Damien Tiernan.

It’s then up to a public vote to decide who will be crowned Clubbing In champions and win the €2,500 prize fund to put towards whatever your club or community group needs.

The overall winner will be announced on Monday, August 21st.

Clubbing In Terms and Conditions

• Regular WLR terms and conditions apply. Find them here.

• Applicants must be a registered/official club/group with a practicing committee and end-of-year treasurers and secretary reports.

• Your club/community group must be based in Waterford city or county.

• Club contact must be over 18 years of age.

• Prize money can only be transferred to an official club/group bank account.

• Please submit one entry per club or community group. The first submitted entry we receive from a club or community group will be the one judged by the judging panel.

• All entrants will be judged by an independent panel with 3 finalists chosen.

• 3 finalists will feature on Déise Today and WLRFM.com where members of the public will vote to decide the overall winner.

• Nominations will close at noon on Friday, August 4th.

• Closing date for the public vote is Friday, August 18th at noon.

• The overall winner will be announced on Monday, August 21th.
