Died peacefully in the loving care of the Sisters and Staff in The Little Sisters of the Poor, Ferrybank.
Predeceased by her parents Helen and Joseph and her brother Vincent.
Deeply regretted by her loving sisters Sr. Carmel (Carrick –on-Suir) and Sr. Mildred (Dungarvan), her Mercy Community, relatives and friends.

Reposing at the Convent of Mercy, Military Road, Waterford on Saturday (20th December) from 2:00pm to 5:00pm concluding with evening prayers.
Requiem Mass on Sunday (21st December) at 12 noon in the Convent Chapel, Military Road, Waterford (X91 X0HV)
followed by burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Ballygunner, Waterford (X91 FP21).

Deepest sympathy to the Uwins family on hearing of Sr. Laura's passing! Our late mother Gabrielle (Nee Griffin and first cousin) often told us of her fond memories of her childhood next door to you in St. Laurence's Terrace. Rest in peace Laura.
