Sr. Assumpta passed away peacefully on the 29th of January 2026, in the tender care of staff at Dungarvan Community Hospital.
Predeceased by her parents Margaret Mary and Richard, sisters Margaret, Clare and Johanna and brother John. Sadly missed by her Presentation Sisters, nieces, nephew, other relatives and many friends.
Sr. Assumpta will be reposing at The Kiely Funeral Home, Dungarvan (X35 XN79) on Friday evening, 30th January from 4 p.m. with Prayers at 6 p.m.
Requiem Mass at 11 a.m. on Saturday morning, 31st January, in St. Mary’s Parish Church, Dungarvan.
Interment afterwards in the Presentation Convent Cemetery, Youghal Road, Dungarvan (X35 YR89).

I am very sorry to hear of the passing of sister Assumpta she was truly beautiful: full of wisdom I still remember life lessons she passed onto us over 50 years ago, may her gentle soul rest in peace: my sincere condolences to her family and all who mourn her .
