Robert Alexander (Alec) Duke, Comeragh Park, Lismore Heights, Waterford City, Waterford and Barnahask, Bunclody, Co. Wexford

Peacefully at Wexford General Hospital. Beloved Husband of the late Frances (nee Peavoy). Loving father of Leslie, Valerie (Ford) and the late Nigel. Adored grandfather of Adam, Stephen, Nathan and Damien. Sadly missed by his son-in-law Joseph, daughter-in-law Rosaleen, brothers-in-law Ben and George, sisters-in-law Joy and Irene, nieces, nephews, great carers, neighbours and many friends.

Safe in the arms of Jesus

Reposing at his son Leslie’s home Barnahask, Bunclody (Y21 WR96) on Thursday 12th January, from 1pm – 8pm.

Funeral Service on Friday 13th January at 2pm in St. Fiaac’s Church, Clonegal. Burial afterwards in the adjoining Churchyard.

Very sorry to hear the sad news about Alec. I worked with him in Heiton McFerran and then Heiton Buckley. He was very helpful to me when I first started there. Alway loved listening to his stories. A gentleman. May he rest in peace.
