and formerly of Leitrim, Kilworth, Co. Cork,
on 2nd May 2023, unexpectedly,
Lying in repose at Aidan Walsh & Sons Funeral Home, Cappoquin on Saturday evening from 5.00pm to 8.00pm,
followed by removal to St. Mary’s Church, Cappoquin.
Funeral Mass on Sunday morning at 11.30am.
Followed by burial in St. Declan’s Cemetery, Cappoquin.
May She Rest In Peace.
Peg (Margaret – Peggy) (nee McCarthy),
loving wife of the late Jim Murray,
daughter of the late Jim and Bride McCarthy,
sister of the late May McCormack, Jerry and Tom McCarthy.
Deeply regretted by her loving daughter Bridget, son James,
daughter-in-law Maria, granddaughter Rachel,
brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces,
relatives, neighbours and friends.

I am so sorry to hear of Peg's passing. Working in Community Education in Lismore and later in Cappoquin community Centre, I had the privilege of knowing Peg as part of a Community group. She was a true lady and was loved and respected by all the group. Rest in peace Peg ?
