Margaret (Peggy) Murphy nee Allen
Late of St. John’s Park, Waterford.
Died February 2nd 2022 in her 90th year

Beloved wife of the late Patrick and mother of the late Brian
and Baby Fiona.

Peggy will be sadly missed and remembered with love by her children Margo, Nellie, Patrick, Mary, Pauline, Michael, Ann, John and Noelle. She will be sadly missed by her sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, her brother Maurice and sister-in-law Ann, extended family and friends.

Peggy’s family would like to thank the staff of the Pine Ward in UHW and the Ferndale Unit at Waterford Residential Care Home (St. Patrick’s Hospital) for the loving care and attention provided to Peggy over the last year.

Reposing at Tom Hennessy Funeral Home, Johnstown, Waterford on Friday February 4th from 6.00pm until 8.00pm.

Requiem mass in The Sacred Heart Church, the Folly at 11.30am on Saturday February 5th followed by burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Ballygunner, Waterford.

Due to recent H.S.E. guidelines regarding Funeral gatherings handshaking and hugging are not advised, mask wearing and social distancing guidelines should be adhered to at all times.

Those who would have liked to attend the funeral, but cannot due to current restrictions; a message of support and sympathy can be left for the family in the condolence section below.
