Who died on Friday, 2nd January, 2026 peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Predeceased by her husband Jack, grandson Jack and members of the Murray and McGrath families. Much loved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Mairead will be sadly missed by her sons and daughters Jim, Gerry, Kay, John, Joanie and Albert. Her sister Kay. Her sons-in-law, John O’Connell and Pat Lennon, and daughters-in-law, Mary, Katie, Lucia and Pipi. Her grandchildren Jean, Shane, Aisling, Conor, Colin, Gerard, John David, Niamh, Hannah, Úna, Holly, Kate, Seán, Tom, Siobhán, Pádraig and Eimear. Her 11 great-grandchildren, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces and nephews, cousins, neighbours and her wide circle of friends.

Mairead will be reposing at Drohan’s Funeral Home Dungarvan (Eircode X35 XF67) on Sunday 4th January from 3pm to 6pm.
Funeral mass on Monday 5th January at 11am in St. Mary’s Parish Church, with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
